American National Bank hosted a fundraising luncheon, bake sale, and raffle to benefit the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life of Hope on Friday, May 20th. We raised over $1,400. This month’s Turnaround Management Association luncheon was held on May 18th at the Banker’s Club in Miami. Amy Engelberg, Executive Vice President and Chief Lending Officer, American National Bank participated in a panel discussion moderated by Linda Jackson with guest speakers Corali Lopez-Castro, Carol Fox and Johanna Armengol. The panel’s topic was “The Women of Bankruptcy: Oh, the Troubles We’ve Seen!” and included discussions on the South Florida economy, banking and bankruptcy trends, advice on how to approach your lender if you are in need of relief, and what to expect in the market in 2012.
