Love Thy Neighbor Santa's Pizza Party

December 19, 2013

Santa’s Pizza Party, presented by Love Thy Neighbor and hosted by YMCA Fort Lauderdale, was held Saturday December 14 and had an amazing turn out. Over 600 children and their families came and enjoyed face painting, cakes, cotton candy, a petting zoo, and more.

Pizza was distributed to the children as Santa made his grand appearance with his elves escorting him to his chair while singing “Jingle Bells”. The children screamed in excitement and sang along as they waited eagerly to sit on Santa’s lap to take pictures. As the children edged closer to the toy room their smiles got bigger.

Each child received the opportunity to select a toy from over 700 toys, including those donated during the American National Bank toy drive. We would like to say “thank you” to all our customers and team members who gave the gift of love this Christmas, the children truly appreciated it.

It was a festive evening and with the help of our guests and the bank’s donation, we raised over $52,000.  Click here for more information on how you can help a homeless family this holiday season and participate in The Little Christmas House project.
