On April 10 -11, 2014, The Florida Banker’s Association hosted its 2^nd Annual Women in Banking Conference in Orlando, Florida.

ANB President & CEO, Ginger Martin, participated in an Executive Officer panel that encouraged and inspired women to enhance their career growth in the banking industry.

Over 200 women attended the conference and had the opportunity to hear leaders from Florida’s financial institutions and affiliated professional groups share their experience and knowledge on how to be powerful leaders in the banking industry. Renowned speakers such as Roxanne Emmerich, CEO of the Emmerich Group, Inc.; Giselle Cheminand, President & CEO of GCI Worldwide Corporation; Amy K. Hutchens, Founder & Intelligence Activist of AmyK International, Inc.; and others, offered leadership tools and strategies for achieving high performance.

On April 3, 2014, The Commonwealth Institute of South Florida named American National Bank, under the leadership of Ginger Martin, one of the Top 50 Women-Led Businesses in Florida.  Ginger was honored at the Ninth Annual Awards Ceremony & Luncheon hosted by The Commonwealth Institute of South Florida at the Hilton Miami Downtown.

Based on company revenue, American National Bank was ranked 22 out of 50 women-led businesses in Florida. Ginger Martin was recognized for her outstanding achievements and leadership in the business world.
