Ginger Martin recently had the honor of meeting and receiving a hug from celebrity Tim Harris, the former owner of Tim’s Place. The famous quote from Walt Disney, “If you can dream it, you can do it” has been the driving force behind the life of Tim Harris. Born in 1986 with Down Syndrome, Tim’s life has been defined by exceeding expectations and inspiring those around him. Tim now travels the world as a speaker to help other individuals with intellectual disabilities start their own business.

Amy Engelberg, Chief Lending Officer for American National Bank, was recently recognized by Sheridan House Family Ministries for her fundraising efforts on behalf of their 9th Annual Family Values 5K event. With the generous support of friends, Amy raised $19,900, making her the top female fundraiser for this event for the 5th year in a row, and helping Sheridan exceed its goal for 2017, with total funds raised of over $160,000. Founded nearly 50 years ago, Sheridan House Family Ministries focuses on building stronger families by meeting the needs of at-risk children, single moms, and families in need of counseling and support. Amy is honored to serve as a volunteer and also on the Board of Directors for this organization
