For community banks like American National Bank, the ability to be quick and nimble was an asset since the onset of the pandemic. The face-to-face component of banking and relationship building will never fully be replaced by video conferences, President and CEO Ginger Martin told Invest:Insights. As such, a strong retail branch footprint remains crucial for the success of the bank’s clients, she said.
