Ginger Martin named a 2022 Power Leader in Banking by South Florida Business Journal

Ginger Martin, President and CEO of American National Bank, has been named by South Florida Business Journal as one of their 2022 Power Leaders in Banking and Finance. Ms. Martin and other banking and finance executives were featured in the June 24-30, 2022 issue of the SFBJ.

Ms. Martin was previously named by the same publication as a Top 250 Power Leader in South Florida in each of the past two years. Last month, she was honored by the Florida Bankers’ Association (FBA) with their Lifetime Achievement Award for her service to the FBA and the banking industry. Earlier this year, Ms. Martin was appointed to the Board of Directors of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta’s Miami Branch, Broward College Foundation and Awana. She also serves on the Boards of the FBA School of Banking, FBA BancServ, Broward Workshop, National Christian Foundation of South Florida, NSU Ambassador’s Board and Tower Forum. She has previously served on the boards of the FBA, Leadership Broward Foundation, Extraordinary Women Leading Change, Executives’ Association of Fort Lauderdale, and as a former foster parent she served on the board of 4KIDS of South Florida, Inc.

Under her leadership, the 36-year-old family-owned bank achieved record earnings last year and received several awards for its financial performance and community involvement, including being rated one of the Top 200 Healthiest Banks in the U.S. in 2021 with an A+ Health & Stability Rating by LendingTree. Additionally, Bauer Financial rated the Bank with its highest 5-Star rating, while The Commonwealth Institute named it as a “Top Women-Led Business” in the state of Florida in 2022 for the 8th consecutive year.
