American National Bank helped sponsor the Russell Education Foundation Celebrity Cornhole Tournament on July 30, 2022 at Barrel of Monks Brewery in Boca Raton. ANB Personal Banker Ryan Rosario and his brother Luke Hamill participated in the tournament and advanced to the third round.

The Foundation was established in 1998 by ex-Miami Dolphin’s linebacker Twan Russell and his late mother Corliss, who was a middle school teacher, to help struggling children focus on reading to equip them for academic success. REF currently provides quality after school and summer learning services for K-5 students through Russell Reading Rooms for over 1,000 children in 11 locations throughout Broward and Miami-Dade counties annually. Priority is given to children attending a school on the Priority Title 1 School List where children qualify for free or reduced lunch.
